Zahida Ispahani was elected the new Chairman of Micro Industries Development Assistance and Services (MIDAS) in its 357th Board Meeting recently, says a press release. MIDAS Board members Anjan Chowdhury, SM Al-Husainy, Parveen Mahmud, Bazlur Rahman Khan, Sabina Alam, Dr SM Akbar, Ali Imam Majumder along with Dr ASM Mashi-ur-Rahman, Managing Director of MIDAS, welcomed the new chairman. Zahida Ispahani is one of the prominent faces in the sector of business and social activities. She is a Director of Ispahani Group of Industries and The Financial Express.
She is also a member of the Management Committee of Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute Hospital and Vice Chair of the Board of Governors, UCEP. Zahida Ispahani is the spouse of late Miza Ali Behrouze Ispahani, Chairman of MM Ispahani Group and former director of MIDAS Board. Zahida lspahani, a graduate in economics, has been working for development at the community level.
