Mr. Karim’s remarkable career spanned over four decades, during which he contributed immensely to the nation’s development through his service in various key government departments and autonomous institutions, including Bangladesh Shilpa Bank, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation, BIWTA, BSCIC, and others. His visionary leadership, commitment to public service, and dedication to economic advancement left an indelible mark on the institutions he served and the people whose lives he touched.
Following his retirement from civil service, Mr. Karim continued to enrich our society as Managing Director of MIDAS and MIDAS Financing PLC, playing a vital role in promoting small enterprises and fostering economic self-reliance. Lastly, he was the Chairman of MIDAS Financing PLC and Chairman of VERC-Savar. His legacy in the fields of development banking and enterprise promotion will inspire generations to come.
