MIDAS successfully organized a Women Entrepreneurs’ Meeting on May 18, 2024, at MIDAS Centre in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Over 50 promising and established entrepreneurs actively exchanged their views and thoughts on sustainable growth and collaboration among themselves.
Ms. Parveen Mahmud FCA, the Honorable Director of MIDAS Board, coordinated the entire program and extensively discussed the needs of entrepreneurs in the changing business landscape. She emphatically highlighted the support required from different stakeholders active in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, such as government agencies, financial institutions, and business associations.
In the main discussion about the challenges, opportunities, and the way forward for women entrepreneurs, Ms. Zahida Ispahani, Chairperson of MIDAS, Prof. Dr. Farhana Ferdousi of Southeast University, and Ms. Khadiza Afzal, Senior Vice President of BFWE, presented their invaluable guidelines.
Ms. Aklima Sultana Sony, President of WEA, Mr. Khairul Bashar, Managing Director of MIDAS, and other dignitaries and guests were also addressed in the meeting.
