On September 1, 2024, MIDAS and the Social Development Foundation (SDF) officially signed an agreement to collaborate on the Business Skill Development through Entrepreneurship Training initiative under the Sustainable Coastal and Marine Fisheries Project (SCMFP). The agreement was executed by M. Khairul Bashar, Managing Director of MIDAS, and M.I.M. Zulfiqar, Project Coordinator for SCMFP, SDF.
Through this partnership, MIDAS will conduct training programs aimed at enhancing the business skills of approximately 2,500 members of the fishing community. These trainings will be conducted at the Upazila/Cluster level within the SCMF project areas, including Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Barishal, Pirojpur, Jhalokathi, Barguna, Patuakhali, and Bhola.
