MIDAS, in its recent Board Meeting, welcomed Mr. M Khairul Bashar as its newly appointed Managing Director. This significant appointment was decided with enthusiasm and confidence by Ms. Zahida Ispahani, Chairperson and other members of the Board of Directors of the organization. They expressed their trust in Mr. Bashar’s capabilities and vision to lead MIDAS towards fulfilling its mission of fostering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) growth, with the ultimate goal of poverty alleviation and employment generation in the country. Mr. M Khairul Bashar is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) with broad experience in enterprise and private sector development. Previously Mr. Bashar also held senior management positions within MIDAS and in other short and long-term consulting projects. His academic background includes an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University, and post-graduate studies at Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
